This Acceptable Usage Policy (“AUP”) describes prohibited uses of QryptWeb’s services. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.
Prohibited content
- Illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Malware, phishing pages, botnet command-and-control, or any code designed to harm others.
- Unsolicited bulk email (spam), including sending from our network or advertising a site hosted on our network.
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading content.
- Content that violates UK law or the law of the jurisdiction in which our servers operate (Germany, the Netherlands).
Prohibited activities
- Port scanning, denial-of-service, or network attacks against any host.
- Cryptocurrency mining on shared hosting.
- Running public proxies, Tor exit nodes, or VPN services on shared hosting.
- Hosting IRC servers or bots on shared hosting.
- Excessive resource usage that degrades other customers’ experience.
- Attempting to circumvent authentication, quotas, or billing.
Resource usage
Shared hosting plans are subject to fair-use CPU, memory, and I/O limits. Sustained usage beyond these limits may result in throttling or a request to upgrade. VPS plans are subject to the resources allocated to that plan.
- No bulk or commercial email from shared hosting.
- No spoofing, no forged headers, no open relays.
- Mailing lists must be confirmed opt-in with functioning unsubscribe.
Reporting abuse
Report suspected violations through our abuse ticket. Include timestamps, URLs, and any relevant logs.
Enforcement
We may suspend, terminate, or refuse service at our discretion for violations. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.
